Assistant Manager, Gift Stewardship and Reporting

About the role

The University Advancement Office (UAO) supports NTU's giving mission by building relationships with philanthropists, alumni, business partners and corporations. Reporting to the Manager, Gift Stewardship and Reporting, the Assistant Manager ensures accurate and impactful reporting and drives targeted campaigns for different donor segments. The role also involves preparing detailed impact reports, strengthening donor relationships and supporting donor engagement programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver detailed impact reports, track donor data and ensure accurate reporting of donor activities
• Conceptualise impact reports in other formats, such as video
• Develop and implement stewardship plans, especially for top-tier donor groups
• Support the organisation and execution of donor recognition events

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Understanding of philanthropy in relation to higher education
• Minimum of 3-4 years' experience, preferably in higher education or a similarly complex organisation, in development, stewardship, advancement or a related function with senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated success in achieving strategic outcomes in a large, complex environment
• Clear understanding of ethical considerations in advancement work and of cultural and intercultural sensitivities

Required skills

• Good knowledge of donor relationship management
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills across a wide range of audiences
• Ability to innovate, handle ambiguity and organisational sensitivity with tact and diplomacy
