Assistant Manager – HR Business Partner (Retail)

About the role

We are seeking a collaborative and commercially‑minded Assistant Manager, HR Business Partner to support Balenciaga’s retail operations across Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, SEAO, you will act as a trusted partner to retail leaders, delivering end‑to‑end HR solutions that drive business growth and an exceptional employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with retail leaders in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand to design and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Provide full‑cycle HR support across the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, talent development, performance management and employee engagement.
• Manage the recruitment process for retail positions, overseeing roughly 50 % of the role’s workload to attract and retain high‑calibre talent.
• Drive talent‑management initiatives and HR operations in a fast‑paced luxury retail environment.
• Influence and advise stakeholders across multiple markets, ensuring HR solutions are commercially sound and solution‑oriented.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or similar role within retail or luxury sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior leaders across different countries.
• Hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
