Assistant Manager, Land Titles Registry

About the role

The Land Titles Registry is seeking an Assistant Manager to handle land registration matters. This is a one-year contract position based in the Revenue House area of Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Process and register legal documents for all land transactions involving private, public, commercial and industrial properties within service standards.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the Land Register System.
• Assist members of the public and solicitors involved in the conveyancing process.
• Liaise with other ministries and agencies such as CPF Board, URA, LTA, JTC and HDB on land registration matters.

Required profile

• A background in Law or Legal Studies, or at least 1 to 4 years' experience as a conveyancing secretary in a law firm.
• Good knowledge of land and conveyancing law practice and the relevant legislation, including the Land Titles Act, Land Titles (Strata) Act and Residential Property Act, as well as bankruptcy, corporate, trusts and succession law.
• Meticulous, able to work under pressure and keen to learn; on-the-job training is provided.
• Candidates with no relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Able to perform administrative job duties.
