Assistant Manager / Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Engagement (International Relations) - 12 Month Contract

About the role

The Strategic Partnerships & Engagement department engages with stakeholders from the public, private and people sectors. As Assistant/Manager of the Strategic Partnerships (International Relations) team, you will build and maintain strategic relationships with international arts organisations, governments and cultural institutions, and help the Council achieve its international objectives by coordinating with government agencies, ministries, statutory boards, foreign embassies and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the international profile of Singapore arts and culture, and support the team lead in growing reach across priority markets and platforms
• Track international arts trends and developments to inform strategy and identify opportunities
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with international partners to facilitate collaborations, exchanges and joint initiatives
• Work with government agencies, ministries and statutory boards to align international engagement with national priorities
• Help organise events such as memorandum of understanding signings, courtesy calls and other programmes
• Provide administrative support: collate data for briefs, manage the travel calendar, process requests for information and internal payments, track international commissions and partnerships, and support grant administration including applications and project closure

Required profile

• Experience managing international partnerships, agreements and projects within the arts and culture sector is advantageous
• Able to work independently and collaborate with team members and external stakeholders
