Assistant Manager, Manulife Business Academy

About the role

The Assistant Manager supports the design, delivery and continuous improvement of learning solutions that build the capabilities of financial representatives and agency leaders at every career stage. The role works closely with internal stakeholders and agency leaders on onboarding programmes, continuous learning initiatives and capability-building projects, and drives learning effectiveness through facilitation, stakeholder engagement and innovative approaches such as GenAI-enabled role-play simulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver learning solutions for representative and leader development
• Facilitate onboarding programmes and continuous learning initiatives across the agency force
• Partner with stakeholders and agency leaders on strategic capability-building projects
• Manage training administration to support programme execution and learner experience
• Monitor and evaluate learning effectiveness and recommend improvements
• Develop engaging training materials and learning experiences aligned to business objectives
• Support innovative learning solutions, including GenAI-enabled role-play simulations
• Coordinate project activities and stakeholder communications

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Learning & Development or a related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience in training, learning and development, education or financial services
• Experience in financial services, agency training or representative development
• Completed CMFAS Modules 9, 9A, 8, 8A HI and RES5
• Preferred: CFP and/or ChFC certification, and experience with digital learning or GenAI-enabled learning tools

• Ability to design engaging learning experiences and training materials
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital learning tools
