Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager – Finance

About the role

The Finance team at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is looking for an Assistant Manager or Senior Assistant Manager to support the Finance Business Partner. You will work closely with internal stakeholders on forecasting, budgeting, analysis and reporting, and play a key role in the school’s financial closure and endowment fund reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodic financial and management reports.
• Liaise with external auditors, providing schedules, samples and documentation during audit fieldwork.
• Review Fund Centre reports, flagging irregularities and inconsistencies.
• Produce ad‑hoc and periodic fund activity reports for donors.
• Coordinate revised estimates and budget inputs from stakeholders to develop annual operating budgets.
• Monitor budget‑to‑actual results and deliver variance analysis to identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Engage with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement of financial and management reporting processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy or a professional accounting qualification.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and Financial Reporting Standards.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, especially in compliance and stakeholder engagement.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (including V‑lookup, Pivot Table, etc.).
• Knowledge of SAP financial system (preferred).
• Proficiency with Financial Reporting Standards.
• Solid grasp of accounting principles.
