About the role
The Office of Patient Engagement (OPEN) at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine seeks an Assistant Manager/Senior Executive to expand patient and public involvement (PPI) in medical research and clinical trials across Singapore. You will support the development of a national PPI guidance document, work on precision‑medicine initiatives, and help establish a lived‑experience partner registry.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to shape national PPI guidance for research and trials.
- Organise and facilitate meetings, workshops, seminars and outreach events.
- Develop and implement an outreach plan to disseminate the PPI Guidance Document.
- Manage web resources that host the guidance document and related materials.
- Produce communication assets such as EDMs, reports and social‑media content for researchers, clinicians and the wider community.
- Build and maintain partnerships with medical‑research, healthcare and community organisations.
Required profile
- Strong interest in patient and community involvement in research and healthcare.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Proactive, dynamic individual capable of driving PPI capability across multiple projects.
