Assistant Manager / Senior Executive – Patient Engagement

About the role

The Office of Patient Engagement (OPEN) at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine seeks an Assistant Manager/Senior Executive to expand patient and public involvement (PPI) in medical research and clinical trials across Singapore. You will support the development of a national PPI guidance document, work on precision‑medicine initiatives, and help establish a lived‑experience partner registry.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to shape national PPI guidance for research and trials.
• Organise and facilitate meetings, workshops, seminars and outreach events.
• Develop and implement an outreach plan to disseminate the PPI Guidance Document.
• Manage web resources that host the guidance document and related materials.
• Produce communication assets such as EDMs, reports and social‑media content for researchers, clinicians and the wider community.
• Build and maintain partnerships with medical‑research, healthcare and community organisations.

• Strong interest in patient and community involvement in research and healthcare.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Proactive, dynamic individual capable of driving PPI capability across multiple projects.
