Assistant Manager / Senior Executive, Research Grant Administration

About the role

The College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University seeks an experienced professional to lead its Research Grant Administration team. This position will support the Research Office, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and strategic collaboration across the university.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of MSOs to support the Research Office operations.
• Oversee research grants administration, including RCAs, finance, staff hiring, and governance of research projects.
• Organise research events such as seminars, conferences, and workshops, and manage industry collaborations.
• Handle research data reporting for internal offices, external agencies, government bodies, and faculty appraisal processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
• At least 5 years of experience in research administration or graduate program management within a tertiary institution.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience leading an administrative team.
• Financial accounting knowledge preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of commitment.
