Assistant Relationship Manager – External Asset Management

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager will support the External Asset Management (EAM) desk of a prominent foreign financial institution. The role focuses on operational excellence for EAM partners, ensuring smooth onboarding, trade execution and portfolio administration. You will act as the primary point of contact for EAM teams, delivering a seamless service experience while maintaining strict compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding, KYC, CDD and AML checks for corporate, trust and high‑net‑worth individual accounts in line with MAS guidelines.
• Receive, verify and execute cross‑asset orders from EAM partners via telephone or secured institutional messaging systems.
• Serve as the main operational point of contact, resolving trade settlement issues, corporate action discrepancies and payment delays.
• Coordinate portfolio valuation reports, account summaries and custom financial statements; handle fee calculations and retrocession payments.
• Ensure all daily workflows comply with internal risk matrices, cross‑border rules and regional regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• A university degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years on a dedicated EAM desk.
• Holding a valid RNF licence (mandatory) and an EA licence (Number: 25S2730).
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, detail‑oriented and highly motivated.
