Assistant Tax Manager – Tax Compliance & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and reporting for Bitdeer’s global operations. The role ensures accurate and timely filing of direct and indirect taxes across multiple jurisdictions and supports tax aspects of strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate income tax, VAT/GST, sales and use tax, withholding tax and other tax returns for all entities.
• Track filing deadlines, maintain compliance with local and international tax regulations, and mitigate tax risks.
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions in line with applicable accounting standards and ensure timely tax payments.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including tax account reconciliations and effective tax rate analysis.
• Lead responses to tax audits and inquiries, coordinating documentation and response strategies.
• Maintain organized tax records and internal controls over tax processes.
• Provide tax support for M&A, restructuring, financing and other strategic projects, including due‑diligence and structuring analysis.
• Act as the primary liaison with external tax advisors and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of direct and indirect tax regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven experience preparing tax returns, provisions and handling tax audits.
• Ability to translate complex tax requirements into clear guidance for business units.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
