Assistant Vice President – Insurer Consulting

About the role

Marsh’s Insurer Consulting Group (ICG) is looking for an Assistant Vice President to join its Singapore hub. This hybrid position requires at least three days a week in the office and offers the chance to work independently on consulting projects for insurance carriers across Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new consulting project opportunities with strategic carriers.
• Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, from conceptualisation to reporting, ensuring actionable insights for insurers.
• Support carrier‑management governance, including monthly meetings and stakeholder engagement.
• Maintain and expand the ICG knowledge directory to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Contribute thought‑leadership by combining macro trends, insurance data and Marsh expertise.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance insights or consulting within Asia.
• Proven ability to break down complex problems into simple, actionable solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of managing and growing a book of business.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging C‑level stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise competing assignments.
