Assistant/Associate/Professor in Applied Artificial Intelligence

About the role

The Singapore Institute of Technology seeks faculty at all seniority levels to lead and contribute to applied AI research and teaching. The role involves collaboration with industry partners and government agencies across multiple AI application domains.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to applied research projects with industry and government in areas such as advanced manufacturing, urban systems, healthcare, and more.
• Develop and teach applied AI courses, supervise industry doctorate/master’s and capstone projects, and support continuing education offerings.
• Mentor existing faculty through joint projects and co‑supervision mechanisms.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with demonstrated AI/ML research experience (or equivalent industry experience).
• Proven leadership on industry‑focused problems, experience with research collaborations, grants, and system deployment.
• Strong supervisory and mentoring skills, and ability to communicate with domain experts, industry practitioners, and the public.
