About the role

The Singapore Teaching and Academic Research Talent (START) Scheme, co‑funded by the Ministry of Education and SIT, offers an Early Career Award to outstanding Singaporean post‑doctoral researchers. The award is designed to develop teaching excellence and build a competitive research portfolio within the Business, Communication and Design faculty.

Key responsibilities

Enhance teaching capabilities by delivering high‑quality lectures and tutorials.
Develop and execute a research plan aligned with SIT’s strategic areas, aiming to secure competitive research grants.

Required profile

Singapore citizen who has recently completed post‑doctoral training.
Excellent academic record and strong motivation for research in SIT‑supported areas.
Passion for teaching, research and an academic career.

What we offer

Research grants to help build a competitive research portfolio.
Assignment of a faculty mentor for the duration of the scheme.
Consideration for an Assistant Professorship upon successful completion.
