Associate Director of Quality

About the role

The Associate Director of Quality leads Vita Coco’s Singapore quality function, overseeing brand, operations, and laboratory teams. Reporting to global quality leadership, this senior leader translates corporate strategy into actionable local plans and champions a culture of food safety and continuous improvement across the value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality liaison between Singapore operations and global headquarters, aligning local priorities with corporate strategy.
• Lead a multi‑functional quality team, set objectives, KPIs, and develop talent through coaching and structured programs.
• Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with local (SFA) and international standards such as FSSC 22000, BRC, and ISO 22000.
• Manage regulatory inspections, third‑party audits, document control, SOP governance, and CAPA processes.
• Oversee supplier and vendor quality assurance, qualification, and performance monitoring.
• Embed robust quality controls throughout manufacturing, from raw material intake to finished goods, and support new product launches.
• Develop data‑driven frameworks for product integrity monitoring, shelf‑life testing, and key quality metrics.

Required profile

• Senior leader with extensive experience in food‑quality and safety management.
• Proven ability to work across multi‑functional teams and influence global stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments in Singapore and international food‑safety standards.
• Track record of driving continuous improvement and cultural change.
