Associate Engineer 2 – Maintenance (Tuas)

About the role

This is a fully site-based Associate Engineer 2 role at Lonza's Tuas site in Singapore, where the engineer works in person with colleagues to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. The position involves 12 hours of rotating day and night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Work safely in line with Lonza rules and mandatory Safety WSH Acts, such as Permit to Work and Lock-Out-Tag-Out
• Operate SAP to perform transactions
• Carry out routine and repair work orders assigned by the Engineer or Supervisor
• Ensure routine maintenance is completed as scheduled and that GMP documentation for maintenance is accurate and complete
• Be available on call or on shift to respond to maintenance and service breakdown calls in a timely way
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment and systems, including reading PID drawings and equipment drawings and identifying components
• Carry out Job Safety Analysis, risk assessment, fall protection and working-at-height tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineer, Supervisor or Manager

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in an engineering-related field (mechanical engineering)
• GMP experience
• Able to perform shift work
• Communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
