Associate Researcher / Researcher, Skin Bioscience Discovery Accelerator

About the role

P&G is launching the Skin Bioscience Discovery Accelerator (SBDA) at its Singapore Innovation Center in Biopolis, combining advanced human biology, multimodal data generation, next-generation experimental platforms and AI-powered discovery. The role sits within a growing team of functional and technical experts working on regional projects, reporting to a R&D Director or Senior Scientist Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run laboratory experiments using advanced biological models, assays and analytical approaches to answer fundamental scientific questions.
• Generate, analyse and interpret complex biological datasets to find new insights and support new scientific hypotheses.
• Work with biologists, data scientists, engineers and AI specialists to integrate different scientific perspectives.
• Document, communicate and present findings through technical reports, internal reviews and forums.
• Collaborate with the P&G Researcher community, technical coaches and global experts to design new experimental approaches.

Required profile

• Diploma in Life Sciences or a related area.
• 3-5 years of experience in life science principles and laboratory techniques, such as cell-based assays and tissue models (skin and hair follicle biology preferred), or experience in AI for (life) science and modelling of biological systems.
• Strong scientific method and technical rigor, with the ability to design, run and interpret experiments independently.
• Problem-solving skills, curiosity, learning agility and a track record of developing new ideas, technologies, methods or solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and execution skills.
