Scientist Manager, Product Development, Skin Care

About the role

P&G is looking for a Scientist Manager to lead and shape future skin care product development and innovation programs at its Singapore Innovation Center in Biopolis. You will work with multi-functional teams and contribute to skin care growth and sustainability transformation initiatives, reporting to a local R&D Director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver end-to-end product development for skin products
• Explore new materials and chemistries to design new skin care products
• Develop and execute plans to optimize the current product portfolio
• Develop new hypotheses, test methods, experiments and modelling to accelerate product design
• Build robust data packages and provide clear, actionable analysis for decision-making
• Collaborate with global R&D teams (SGIC, KIC, BJIC and MBC) and with external suppliers and partners for rapid prototyping
• Contribute to technical strategy, innovation roadmap and IP strategy

Required profile

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in product design or technology development
• Proven ability to design experiments, analyze data and generate insights
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and to communicate complex technical findings to stakeholders
