Associate Test Engineer / Product Test Technician

About the role

KLA is looking for an Associate Test Engineer / Product Test Technician in Singapore. The role plays a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise, supporting the inspection and testing of electronic components and assemblies.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, test and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
• Determine and possibly develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems, and carry out rework on assemblies or systems resulting from testing
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
• Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Technical school or 1 year of work experience
• Previous hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and procedures and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments
• Comfortable working in shifts and in a cleanroom environment

Required skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve technical problems, set up experiments and perform data analysis
• Excellent communication, teamwork and people skills
• Optics alignment experience is advantageous
