Associate/Senior Associate – Product Control & Business Finance

About the role

The Associate / Senior Associate will join the Global Financial Markets Product Control team within Group Finance. You will be responsible for daily profit‑and‑loss reporting, analysis and ensuring accurate financial data across multiple Asian locations.

Key responsibilities

• Produce daily P&L reports, attribution and commentary linking movements to desk strategies.
• Monitor new deals, late deals, market operations and exceptions between reported P&L and trader estimates.
• Partner with Front Office, Risk, Operations and IT to resolve deal discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
• Oversee multi‑location controls across Asia hubs, ensuring consistency in reporting.
• Prepare monthly reserves, MIS segment numbers and reconcile P&L with the General Ledger.
• Draft monthly commentaries on key P&L drivers.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects to streamline workflows, review control gaps and support system enhancements, including UAT.

Required profile

• Degree holder with 3‑5 years of experience in banking finance, audit or product control.
• Meticulous, strong control awareness and inquisitive mindset.
• Good understanding of treasury products, derivatives and options.
• Ability to relate product‑control processes to business strategies.
• Strong team player.
