AVP/VP Cybersecurity Governance & Oversight

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, you will lead governance, oversight and assurance for cybersecurity, AI security, IT security and emerging technology risks across Temasek and its ecosystem. The role focuses on building trusted foundations that enable innovation while safeguarding long‑term value.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight and continuous monitoring of compliance with cybersecurity, AI security and IT security policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, maintain and enhance enterprise‑wide frameworks, policies, standards and control requirements for cybersecurity, AI security, AI governance and IT security.
• Establish governance and assurance frameworks for the secure, responsible and trustworthy adoption of AI, including AI risk management, model governance and agentic AI controls.
• Collaborate with business units, stakeholders and portfolio companies to shape governance frameworks and deliver independent assurance.
• Promote knowledge sharing and best‑practice advancement to uplift cyber resilience and AI assurance across the ecosystem.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management and compliance.
• Strong understanding of AI security, AI governance and emerging technology risk.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence governance processes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
