Brokerage Analyst - Customs & Trade Compliance

About the role

The Brokerage Analyst provides analytical, reporting and administrative support to APAC Brokerage and Customs & Trade Compliance. The role maintains operational and compliance data, prepares management reports and dashboards, analyses trends and coordinates with regional and country stakeholders. It supports data accuracy, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and maintain brokerage operational and compliance data to support reporting, performance monitoring and business decisions.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations and management updates, and give analysis and insights to regional and global stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance records, including non-compliant shipment cases, audits, penalties, licenses, training records and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Brokerage Operations, Commercial teams, customers and cross-functional stakeholders on compliance initiatives, issue resolution and follow-up.
• Maintain reporting tools, Power BI dashboards, SharePoint content and process documentation, supporting continuous improvement and automation.
• Provide administrative, project coordination and other departmental support as assigned.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret data, identify trends and give business insights.
• Knowledge of brokerage operations, customs regulations, trade compliance requirements, international trade or logistics is preferred.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills, able to work across regional, country and cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail, ownership and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Experience in data analysis, business reporting, dashboard development or process automation is preferred.
