Business Analyst Intern

About the role

Johnson Controls, a global leader in thermal management, building systems, energy efficiency and decarbonization, is looking for a Business Analyst intern. You will work closely with the Director of Operational Excellence, SEA and Bid Management, APAC, supporting the teams by analyzing data, preparing reports and contributing to projects that improve business performance. Depending on priorities, you may help with bid preparation and compliance, track KPIs, support quality and fulfilment initiatives or help solve operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and interpret data to support decision-making
• Help prepare bid documents, proposals and compliance checks
• Support KPI tracking, reporting and performance dashboards
• Support process improvement by identifying gaps and recommending solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve quality and on-time delivery
• Research industry trends, competitors and best practices
• Prepare presentations, reports and documentation

Required profile

• Pursuing master's or degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interest in business processes, data analysis, process improvement and problem solving
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and proactive mindset

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
