Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for our specialist design‑and‑build services in Singapore. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with developers, architects, consultants, main contractors and government agencies, and guide projects from enquiry through to contract award.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to meet sales, revenue and growth targets.
• Identify design‑and‑build opportunities with developers, architects, consultants, main contractors and government bodies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients and industry partners.
• Promote specialist capabilities such as tensile membrane systems, ETFE systems, steel structures and architectural works.
• Understand client technical, design, budget and programme requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, contracts, procurement and project teams to prepare competitive proposals.
• Manage enquiries and tenders through assessment, submission, clarification, negotiation and contract award, while reviewing commercial and contractual risks.
• Maintain accurate client and sales data in the CRM system and ensure proper handover upon award.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales within the construction or design‑and‑build sector.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with developers, architects, consultants, contractors and government agencies.
• Ability to understand and translate client technical, budget and programme needs into viable solutions.
• Excellent coordination skills across multidisciplinary project teams.
