Casual Baker – Part‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Casual Baker to join the Pastry Kitchen at MandaI Resorts. The role is part‑time and supports the production of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies and other baked items while upholding our high standards of quality and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies and other baked products.
• Assist the Executive Pastry Chef with recipe preparation and product development.
• Ensure all products meet quality, taste and presentation standards.
• Monitor baking equipment, report any maintenance issues and maintain a clean work environment.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies.
• Comply with food hygiene, sanitation and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Pastry Chef.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a bakery, pastry shop or kitchen is preferred.
• Strong passion for baking and food preparation.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced kitchen.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
