Chef – Full‑time position in Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef to join our kitchen team in Singapore on a full‑time basis. You will be responsible for preparing dishes, maintaining stock levels and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items, including cutting and basic food preparation.
• Monitor food stock and movement, ensuring accurate inventory records.
• Understand daily departmental costs and their impact on profit and loss.
• Minimise kitchen wastage and enforce FIFO stock rotation.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and verify the condition and accuracy of goods.
• Complete mise en place for your section each shift.
• Follow cleaning schedules and maintain a tidy work environment.
• Report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef promptly.
• Adhere to company policies, statutory regulations and food‑hygiene standards.
• Provide flexibility to support other departments when needed.
