Chief Legal Officer, Asia Pacific

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing Asia Pacific platform at the intersection of real estate, hospitality, food & beverage and technology. It seeks a commercially sophisticated Chief Legal Officer to join the executive leadership team and guide legal strategy across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the principal legal advisor to the CEO, Board and senior leadership, providing commercially focused counsel.
• Lead legal aspects of capital‑raising, equity and debt financing, venture capital, private equity, and structured finance transactions.
• Oversee corporate structuring, mergers & acquisitions, pre‑IPO preparation and public market readiness.
• Develop and manage intellectual property, trademark strategy, technology ownership and digital platform legal frameworks.
• Establish governance, enterprise risk management and compliance programs for regional expansion.
• Coordinate with external counsel, investors, regulators and strategic partners.

Required profile

• Senior legal executive with extensive experience in capital markets, fundraising and corporate transactions.
• Deep knowledge of intellectual property, trademark strategy and cross‑border legal matters.
• Proven ability to balance legal risk management with rapid business growth in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong advisory skills to senior leadership and board members.
