College Intern - Quality Engineering

About the role

HP is looking for a College Intern in Quality Engineering in Singapore. The intern learns and applies basic quality assurance principles and inspection methods, and works alongside engineers and teams on quality-related tasks. The internship is full time, for 5-6 months starting in January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate quality requirements into product design and manufacturing processes.
• Support the development of test strategies and take part in test execution and documentation.
• Track and report quality metrics, deviations and improvement opportunities.
• Take part in root cause analysis and corrective actions under supervision.
• Collect and organise data from testing and production to identify trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on assigned tasks and projects.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Able to commit to a full-time internship of 5-6 months starting in January 2027.
• Strong interest in quality assurance, product development or manufacturing.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a team environment.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of engineering principles and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
• Exposure to quality standards (e.g. ISO 9001), root cause analysis or process improvement is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic testing or inspection tools, and interest in automation or data visualisation tools.
