Commercial Manager - Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

Citadel Search is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to manage and drive renewable energy projects across the region. You will lead the development, negotiation and execution of commercial strategies, ensuring profitability, compliance and successful project delivery in Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the structuring and negotiation of commercial and technical agreements with customers, focusing on financial viability and risk mitigation of sustainable projects such as Solar PV and energy storage.
• Support end-to-end tender processes, including documentation preparation, submission and bidding.
• Ensure technical specifications and project criteria meet submission requirements.
• Secure optimal pricing and terms through vendor relationship management and negotiation.
• Prepare and review commercial proposals and contractual documents for project delivery.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to keep project execution on plan.
• Monitor and report on the financial performance of regional projects.
• Identify AEIs to improve returns and use construction feedback to improve future commercial planning.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Management, Renewable Energy or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Solar PV or energy storage industry.
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy sector across Southeast Asia.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Vietnamese is advantageous.
