Construction Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the technical and contractual aspects of our oil and gas process plant projects. You will act as the construction expert throughout feasibility, basic, and FEED phases, ensuring smooth execution from site preparation to start‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and compile contracting plans and prepare contract documents.
• Lead technical negotiations with design teams and supervise contract coordination.
• Plan and implement site arrangements, managing installation, construction, and start‑up activities.
• Report progress and risks to the Project Manager and ensure compliance with official requirements.
• Close sites, produce final reports, and oversee after‑care activities.
• Maintain occupational safety and quality system guidelines.
• Resource execution phase together with Head of Construction/Projects.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local authority regulations.
• Manage and supervise local EPC companies.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or equivalent diploma in an engineering discipline.
• Extensive experience in oil and gas process plant construction, including turnaround projects.
• Strong project delivery focus, ability to identify opportunities and work with diverse stakeholders.
• Self‑leadership, hands‑on mentality, and willingness to travel as needed.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Understanding of EPC/EPCM project organization complexities.
• Design and maintenance experience considered an asset.
• Willingness to commit to a 12‑month contract assignment.
