Construction Supervisor

About the role

The Construction Supervisor will oversee daily activities on the construction site, coordinate workers and subcontractors, and ensure that work is completed safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the role involves monitoring progress, managing resources and maintaining site safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations and allocate work to construction workers.
• Coordinate with the Construction Manager, engineers and subcontractors on work schedules and site requirements.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and explain work requirements to the site team.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure construction follows approved drawings and specifications.
• Track daily progress, identify delays and report issues to the Construction Manager.
• Arrange manpower, materials, tools and equipment for scheduled work.
• Conduct daily briefings and reinforce site safety procedures.
• Maintain daily records of manpower attendance, work progress and material usage.

Required profile

• Relevant construction qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience supervising construction site activities.
• Relevant safety training or supervisory certifications (preferred).

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Knowledge of construction methods, workmanship and site safety practices.
• Coordination of manpower, materials, tools and equipment for scheduled work.
