Corporate Counsel – Satellite Business

About the role

Amazon Leo is launching a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to deliver high‑speed broadband to underserved communities worldwide. We are seeking an experienced corporate counsel to join the Amazon Legal team and support the commercial business development and sales functions of this ambitious initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Amazon Leo commercial and sales teams to advise on strategic partnerships and enterprise customer agreements, primarily in APAC markets.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, ensuring legal risk is managed while enabling rapid business execution.
• Develop and implement legal strategies and processes that balance risk mitigation with operational flexibility.
• Provide ongoing transactional legal support and guidance to business leaders.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, including at least 2 years of transactional support.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Demonstrated sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
• Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to tackle complex, fast‑moving challenges.
