Corporate Legal Specialist – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

The Corporate Legal Specialist will join the Group Company Secretarial (CoSec) team to support corporate governance, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This 12‑month contract role requires a highly organized professional who can manage complex documentation and tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate corporate documents such as board and shareholder resolutions, powers of attorney, and corporate approvals.
• Draft, format, and execute a range of corporate legal documents, ensuring proper version control and signature collection.
• Maintain statutory records, corporate registers, and entity documentation for multiple jurisdictions.
• Organise large volumes of corporate and legal files within document‑management systems.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers to obtain required documentation for corporate transactions and filings.
• Track filing deadlines and regulatory requirements to ensure timely compliance.
• Support corporate transactions, restructurings, and other legal projects by preparing documentation and coordinating internal processes.
• Provide general legal and administrative assistance to the broader Legal department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate legal, corporate paralegal, or corporate secretarial roles.
• Proven experience supporting corporate governance matters and handling corporate documentation.
• Strong organizational, document‑management, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
