CRAC / HVAC Assistant Field Service Engineer (Data Center)

About the role

A multi-national company with more than 50 years of business worldwide, providing air conditioning and humidification solutions for the high-tech industry, is looking for an assistant field service engineer in its data center air conditioning business. The position is based in Paya Lebar, Singapore, with a salary of up to S$4,500.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out hands-on service, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of data center air conditioning, HVAC and CRAC (computer room air conditioning) systems.
• Document pre-work risk assessments and post-work service reports on time, including job method statements, permits to work and risk assessment reports.
• Supervise subcontractors and mentor junior technicians.
• Follow safety SOPs and HVAC maintenance documentation.

Required profile

• NITEC in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a data center air conditioning service role.
• Proficiency with documentation such as job method statements and permits to work.
