Customer Service & Supply Chain Officer

About the role

SOMFY, a French family-owned group and pioneer in home automation, is hiring a Customer Service & Supply Chain Officer in Singapore. The role combines supply chain functions such as demand planning, inventory and inbound logistics with customer care tasks covering order management and outbound logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Demand planning: develop demand forecasts from historical data, market trends, sales forecasts and customer insights to align supply with customer demand.
• Inventory and supply planning: plan inventory, replenishment and supply, optimise stock, coordinate purchasing and suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
• Inbound logistics: manage transportation, shipping and customs so products arrive in time for current and future customer needs.
• Sales administration: manage the end-to-end customer order lifecycle, including quotations, order entry, validation, scheduling, changes, delivery coordination, returns and customer communication.
• Outbound logistics: move goods from warehouse to customer, handle process compliance, documentation and customer coordination.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with people from diverse cultures.
• Self-motivated, responsible and organised, able to work independently with minimal supervision and to prioritise multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong PC skills, especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Power BI and MS Outlook.
• ERP knowledge (e.g. Oracle, SAP) is a plus.
