About the role
Veolia Environnement is hiring a driver in Singapore to deliver and collect goods according to delivery orders. The role covers technical delivery work, operational efficiency and safety and quality procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver goods on time according to delivery orders and upload goods onto the truck.
- Check that all goods are in order before every delivery and inspect received goods against the delivery order.
- Keep the vehicle in good condition and follow traffic rules and regulations.
- Optimize operation costs through efficient delivery planning.
- Apply safety and quality procedures for operations within the scope of the activity.
Required profile
- Secondary education.
- Class 3 and Class 4 driving licence.
- Expected 3 to 5 years of experience in delivery.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of local roads and locations.
- Ability to lift heavy goods up to 25 kg.
- Competent conversational, reading and understanding of basic English.
- Dependability and communication.
