About the role
The Departmental Store Manager is responsible for driving profitability and delivering an exceptional shopping experience in a busy retail environment. Reporting to senior leadership, the manager oversees store operations, stock optimisation and a high‑performing sales team.
Key responsibilities
- Create an exceptional shopping environment that enhances customer satisfaction and brand perception.
- Optimise stock levels to balance inventory costs with product availability.
- Lead, coach and motivate a high‑performing sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Analyse retail metrics to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
- Adjust floor layouts based on data insights to improve product visibility and flow.
- Launch promotional campaigns that drive traffic and increase revenue.
- Ensure seamless customer service that aligns with the brand’s image and standards.
- Monitor profitability indicators and implement actions to improve store performance.
Required profile
- Middle Management level with proven experience in retail store leadership.
