Digital Product Engineer, Merchant Enablement

About the role

The NETS Group, a payments services group operating Singapore's national debit scheme, is hiring a Digital Product Engineer, Merchant Enablement. The role drives the design, delivery and continuous improvement of digital products and business capabilities that support merchant onboarding, servicing and growth. It bridges business, technology and operations teams to deliver scalable digital solutions, improve customer journeys and streamline business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from business case and implementation to launch and post-launch, and develop roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications, and work with Technology, Operations and Finance teams through agile methods.
• Track product success metrics and business outcomes.
• Review and design business processes, identify automation and digitisation opportunities, and partner with teams to remove manual processes.
• Drive process transformation across merchant onboarding, servicing, reconciliation and settlement.
• Work with Technology teams on solution feasibility, design, testing, deployment and operational readiness, ensuring security and compliance.
• Analyse user feedback and performance data to improve merchant experience and adoption of digital solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Product Management, Digital Transformation, Business Analysis, Process Improvement or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
• Proven track record delivering digital products and transformation initiatives.
• Experience across technology, sales and operations teams, with a strong interest in payments and product management.
• Ability to engage and manage diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in business process redesign and workflow optimisation.
• Advantageous: payments, acquiring, fintech, banking or digital commerce experience.

Required skills

• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and customer journey mapping.
• Process improvement and business analysis.
