Digital Tax Business Analyst – Associate/Senior

About the role

PWC's Digital Tax team is looking for a Business Analyst to help design, implement and optimise tax technology solutions. You will work closely with tax experts and technology developers to automate corporate tax, transfer pricing and GST processes, turning complex manual work into streamlined digital workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into functional and non‑functional specifications for new system development or enhancements.
• Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and support project managers throughout end‑to‑end delivery.
• Embed tax needs into IT systems to improve automation, data quality and reporting across tax processes.
• Ensure usability and suitability of tax technology solutions for end users.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably with a corporate tax background.
• Ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good understanding of the software development life‑cycle.

Required skills

• Experience with database systems such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools – e.g., Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath.
