Digital Transformation Program Manager - Smart Factory, Robotics and Automation

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Digital Transformation Program Manager in Singapore, focused on smart factory, robotics and automation. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of working about two days per week from an HPE office. It leads internal projects that meet scope, time, budget and quality expectations, manages corporate and vendor efforts, and acts as a subject-matter expert guiding functional project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal projects, including detailed design of sponsors' high-level concepts, with budgets and financial forecasts provided to management
• Manage stakeholder relationships at an upper level and lead or mentor project teams of more than 20 people from multiple countries
• Lead or support end-to-end project management, from ideation and planning to execution, monitoring and post-implementation review
• Help turn proof-of-concept pilots into fully funded projects by developing project charters, ROI analysis and presentation materials
• Identify and resolve challenges in manufacturing, robotic automation, supply chain and logistics, and collaborate with business functions to recommend solutions
• Design and drive programs that raise manufacturing maturity and align with industry best practices
• Research emerging technologies beyond robotics to inform the digital roadmap

Required profile

• First-level university degree
• 7+ years in project management or similar roles
• PMP certification required
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects from design to implementation
• Strong critical thinking, stakeholder influence and cross-functional collaboration

Required skills

• Deep understanding of supply chain ERP/MES/planning systems, with a preference for experience in complex manufacturing, electronics and high-tech environments
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 and smart factory concepts, including IoT and robotics for manufacturing automation
• Basic proficiency in data analysis with tools such as SQL or Power BI (e.g. measuring OEE or cycle time)
• Knowledge of integration technologies such as EDI and APIs
• Agile product development and prototyping; preferred: digital product management, supply chain analytics and blockchain experience
