Finance & Strategy, Deal Strategy – APAC

About the role

You will play a critical role in scaling Anthropic's revenue by managing complex deals and building standardized processes that balance speed with control. Working at the intersection of finance, sales, and legal, you will ensure our AI products reach customers while maintaining financial discipline and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct growth, margin, discount impact, and profitability analyses to support data‑driven decisions.
• Collaborate with sales to structure deals that meet customer needs while protecting Anthropic’s financial interests.
• Review enterprise deals that exceed standard parameters, focusing on pricing, contract terms, and financial implications.
• Serve as the primary liaison among sales, finance, legal, and compliance throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain deal approval policies, pricing guidelines, and exception handling procedures.
• Create and refine approval workflows, escalation procedures, and standardized templates.
• Maintain comprehensive deal documentation and provide regular reporting on deal strategy metrics.

Required profile

• Experience in deal strategy, deal desk, finance, sales strategy, or related analytical roles, preferably in a high‑growth technology environment.
• Hands‑on experience building sophisticated financial models and structuring complex deals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities across multiple departments.
• Detail‑oriented with strong process‑improvement instincts.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments while maintaining accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using CPQ tools.
• Familiarity with contract management platforms.
