Director / Senior Director, Government Relations (EMEA)

About the role

SHEIN is seeking a senior professional to lead its Government Relations function across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Reporting to the Global Head of Public Affairs, you will shape public policy positions, build strategic stakeholder relationships and translate policy engagement into commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess public policies and their impact on SHEIN’s business interests in EMEA.
• Develop and manage the company’s public policy positions and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Foster strategic partnerships with political, regulatory, civil‑society and industry stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor a cross‑regional team, promoting a proactive, commercially‑focused culture.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Logistics, Legal, Compliance, PR and ESG teams to advocate SHEIN’s positions on policy issues.
• Plan and operate stakeholder engagement platforms to support market access and expansion.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in government relations, public affairs or regulatory affairs within a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to influence senior decision‑makers and build high‑level relationships.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of turning policy engagement into business results.
• Leadership experience managing teams across multiple countries.
