Enterprise Account Executive (FX & Payment API, SEA)

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses, is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive in its Enterprise Business team. The role focuses on selling the FX & Payment API product to Southeast Asia-based customers using your existing network and industry experience. Success depends on hitting target volume and revenue, with significant commission and share option upside. The position is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the SDR to acquire new enterprise customers across APAC through your existing network.
• Own and drive the entire deal cycle from prospecting to go live.
• Identify new companies, use cases and prospects through research with the SDR team.
• Work with Marketing, Strategy and other functions to drive sales funnel conversion.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline and help define best practices for the APAC sales team.
• Provide regular reporting against KPIs, metrics and targets.
• Develop go-to-market strategies tailored to specific verticals or companies.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience selling complex technology products to enterprise accounts (fintech experience preferred); candidates with less experience may be considered for Account Executive.
• Proven track record of new business solution selling, ideally in FX, payments, transaction banking or card issuing, in verticals such as eCommerce, marketplaces, fintech and online travel.
• Broad network of key decision makers in payments solutions at target prospects.
• Preferred: API sales experience, a startup mindset and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
