Enterprise Account Executive - Travel Vertical (FX & Payment API)

About the role

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system used by more than 675,000 businesses, is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive (or Senior Account Executive) in Singapore. The role focuses on selling its FX and Payment API product to Southeast Asia-based customers, using the candidate's network and industry experience to achieve volume and revenue targets, which carry significant commission and share option upside.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the SDR to acquire new enterprise customers across APAC through your existing network and experience.
• Own and drive the entire deal cycle, from prospecting to go live.
• Identify new companies, use cases and prospects through research with the help of the SDR team.
• Work with Marketing, Strategy and other functions to drive sales funnel conversion.
• Build and manage a strong, reliable pipeline and help define best practices for the APAC sales team.
• Provide regular reporting against KPIs, metrics and targets.
• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies tailored to specific verticals and companies.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience selling complex technology products to enterprise accounts (preferably with several years in fintech); candidates with less experience may be considered for Account Executive.
• Proven track record of new business solution selling, ideally in FX, payment, transaction banking, card issuing or related verticals such as eCommerce, marketplaces, fintech and online travel agents.
• Broad network of key decision makers in payments solutions at target prospects such as eCommerce, marketplace, fintech and online travel businesses.
• Preferred: experience in API sales, a startup mindset, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
