Estate Executive, Housing Maintenance Projects Section

About the role

An HDB office is recruiting an Estate Executive for its Housing Maintenance Projects Section. You will join a dynamic team managing improvement projects and serving residents through quality housing and maintenance services. The successful candidate will be offered a 1+1 year contract and will be based at HDB Hub, Toa Payoh.

Key responsibilities

• Manage improvement projects, including improvement works to HDB flats and car parks.
• Manage consultants and contractors and handle contract administration, such as processing payments and claims, assessing the need for variation works and extensions of time.
• Carry out regular site audits and liaise with stakeholders so projects meet quality and safety standards, are delivered on time and within budget.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in home maintenance and estate management.

Required profile

• A relevant technical background and/or experience (for example, a construction-related discipline) is advantageous but not necessary.
• Effective communication skills and a passion to serve.
• Ability to work independently, confidence and assertiveness, and a willingness to learn.
