Executive - Architectural Associate

About the role

Sembcorp Specialised Construction is seeking an Executive – Architectural Associate to lead the formulation of project briefs, conceptual design, and presentation for a variety of construction projects. The role combines design expertise with regulatory compliance and safety considerations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit building plans and obtain clearances in line with local codes and regulations.
• Integrate HSE lifecycle requirements and safety standards into all design work.
• Develop architectural details, specifications, and design documentation.
• Support the tender process and assist with contract and construction management.
• Follow TOP & CSC procedures to ensure smooth project completion and hand‑over.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in architectural practice, covering master plans, power plants, warehouses, offices, residential projects, and alterations.
• Singapore citizenship due to the sensitive nature of the role.
• Strong interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM tools, especially Revit.
• Experience using SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Photoshop.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of Singapore regulatory bodies and codes (URA, BCA, SCDF, PUB, NEA, LTA, NParks).
• Ability to annotate and describe 3D models and 2D drawings.
