Executive, International MICE Sales

About the role

Sentosa is looking for an Executive, International MICE to proactively seek and secure MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) business opportunities for Sentosa and its affiliated island partners, both within Singapore and internationally. The role requires meeting and exceeding performance targets set by management, thriving in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an International MICE and Local Corporate database to support lead generation, pipeline tracking and follow-up.
• Assist in sales calls and help develop and present MICE proposals for Sentosa venues, products and packages.
• Take part in site inspections of Sentosa properties to identify potential leads and support conversions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders on event planning and administration on Sentosa.
• Work with the Marketing team on sales outreach campaigns and help acquire new business to build a pipeline of events.
• Identify and take part in relevant trade events and platforms, and maintain relationships with MICE organisers and corporate clients.
• Help prepare and monitor sales reports and performance dashboards, and carry out other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in MICE/event sales, with a proven track record of building prospect databases; personal contacts and database resources are preferred.
• Familiarity with government tender and procurement processes is advantageous.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and a second language.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• A valid Class 3/3A driving licence is beneficial.
