Executive / Senior Executive (Enterprise Risk Management)

About the role

The Strategic Planning & Scanning department at Singapore University of Social Sciences supports strategy development and execution and drives enterprise risk management initiatives. This position works in a team to support integrated planning and enterprise risk management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic planning: partner with EXCO sponsors, co-sponsors and directors of strategic workgroups to formulate the strategic plan, including research and benchmarking and recommendations to strengthen it
• Provide secretariat support for strategic workgroup meetings, prepare agenda items for management, and coordinate workplan seminars
• Conduct market, industry and internal analyses to identify opportunities, risks and areas for improvement
• Risk identification and assessment, including horizon scanning, risk perception surveys and risk discussions with Directors
• Guide risk owners in developing KRIs and risk control action plans, and track implementation milestones and completion dates
• Monitor and report risk updates to management, including KRI results and progress on risk controls
• Support the development of the organisation's risk training programme

Required profile

• Degree holder with 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Mature, meticulous, with discretion and integrity
• Resourceful team player who can work independently and show initiative
• Able to communicate well with faculty, administrative staff and other stakeholders

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Data analysis and information research
