Expert Corporate Controlling

About the role

The Expert Corporate Controlling will oversee financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for Exyte entities and Global Business Units, supporting senior management in financial decision‑making and ensuring high‑quality reporting across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing, as well as regional and GBU budget and forecast planning.
• Consolidate group key performance indicators (KPIs) and support regional controlling departments with reporting standards.
• Act as the primary contact for Exyte entities and Global Business Units on reporting and controlling queries.
• Ensure project reporting quality through plausibility checks and project evaluations.
• Prepare ad‑hoc analyses and special projects for the Senior Vice President Controlling and the Management Board.
• Analyse SG&A costs at entity level, develop headcount numbers and implement measures to reduce SG&A expenses.
• Contribute to the development of reporting and controlling processes and implement new board requirements.
• Support internal projects such as OneERP process improvements and Rate Card initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably within an international industrial environment.
• University degree in Finance (e.g., Master’s level).
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with financial consolidation and KPI reporting.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Familiarity with Tagetik reporting software.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Competence in Office 365 suite.
