Facilities Management (FM) Intern

About the role

This internship offers hands‑on exposure to integrated facilities management across multiple sites. You will support daily operations, maintenance coordination and digital FM initiatives while working closely with the Facilities Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily facilities operations and monitoring service performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E systems such as HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain maintenance logs, asset registers and compliance documentation; help prepare weekly/monthly FM reports.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors, supervise scheduled works and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Help ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, ISO standards and company policies; participate in inspections and audits.
• Support use of CMMS/CAFM tools for work‑order tracking and contribute to digital projects like IoT sensor monitoring.
• Respond to service requests, gather tenant feedback and assist in stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services or a related field.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work in a team.
• Interest in smart facilities, sustainability or digital transformation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is an advantage.
