Factory & Site Installation Supervisor – Carpentry

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Factory & Site Installation Supervisor to lead our carpentry production and on‑site installation teams in Singapore. The role combines hands‑on workshop management with field coordination for residential, retail and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily factory operations including cutting, assembly, finishing and manpower allocation.
• Plan production schedules and monitor material usage such as PET, hardware, adhesives, timber, veneers and laminates.
• Read architectural blueprints, shop drawings, joinery details and 3D mock‑ups to prepare accurate cutting lists and production instructions.
• Operate, maintain and calibrate CNC machines, painting equipment and other factory machinery.
• Lead installation teams on site, conduct measurements and resolve structural discrepancies before fabrication.
• Coordinate delivery, transport, lifting and night‑shift logistics for mall and retail projects.
• Perform factory quality‑control inspections and ensure finished products meet standards.
• Enforce WSH, MOM and bizSAFE safety requirements both in the factory and on site.
• Manage project handover and ensure defects are rectified within 48 hours.

Required profile

• 5–8 years hands‑on experience in custom carpentry/cabinet making, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or foreman role in Singapore.
• Strong ability to read architectural, shop and joinery drawings and to prepare cutting lists.
• Good knowledge of timber, veneers, laminates and modern hardware.
• Leadership and manpower coordination skills for local and foreign workers.
• Conversational English and Mandarin or Malay.
• Familiarity with Singapore WSH Act, MOM, bizSAFE and BCA compliance.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence (advantageous).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends and night shifts.
